CDR-780seu - supporting speeds of 7.2Mbps Downlink and 1.9Mbps Uplink
|
Call Direct today launched its High Speed Packet Access (HSPA) cellular router the CDR-780seu into the aggressive Australian cellular broadband arena. Call Direct's Managing Director, Mr Barry Mitchell said the CDR-780seu in testing, had speed performance of 7.2 Mbps downlink and 1.9Mbps Uplink. Mr Mitchell is over the moon to again have Call Direct in the pole position in the cellular broadband market by having the first HSPA supported router available in Australia. “When it comes to bringing cutting edge technologies to market Call Direct is proving to be consistently ahead of the pack and it is a great testament to Australia's capabilities in this area” said Mr Mitchell. Mr Mitchell is aware of one Global cellular player who is watching with great interest to what we as Australian developers are capable of in the Cellular Broadband space. Riding on the success of Call Directs previous CDM-series cellular routers, Mr Mitchell believes Call Direct’s success has been built on having the foresight to have built a strong operating platform enabling them the ability to develop what is now their forth generation of cellular routers. Mr Mitchell believes that as the coverage and speed capabilities improve, wireless data communications, whether their Third Generation or Wifi, will continue their climb to becoming the dominant platform globally for the movement of data for either commercial or domestic usage. Mr Mitchell stated Call Direct’s continual development of on this platform will see the launch of a number of new products in to both the domestic and telematic Cellular Broadband market’s later in the year." >>> Product Website
